Singapore's second casino comprising some twenty resort facilities. The formwork specifications required complex design and innovation to support the 3m x 2.8m concrete structural beams at a height of 9 metres. The formwork system and design provided speed in erection which maintained the contract ahead of schedule.
Saint Quentins, Claremont, Western Australia A five storey luxury residential and commercial development requiring total perimeter scaffold access, circular construction access and public safety using Cuplock scaffold system.
DESALINATION PLANT, SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES Using the Starshore system, International Formwork & Scaffolding Ltd provided the equipment and designs to comply with the contractors strict requirements focused on safety, ease in erection, and flexibility to form around deep beams. Employing a complete steel board working platform, walkways and handrails, ensured the job was completed within schedule and injury free.
FORMULA ONE RACING, SINGAPORE The first formula 1 night race was held in Singapore in 2008. The Starshore system was used to erect grandstands and marquis platforms alongside the track.
CENTRAL PARK BUILDING, PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
External maintenance carried out on Perth's tallest building Central Park required access to provided to the structural supports and facia coupling of the building. An unusual structure design had to be used to achieve the access required while maintaining the highest level of public safety in handling materials on site.
SCREENS PROJECT, SINGAPORE
'Screens' replace full height scaffolding by providing a safe working platform which rises as the building is constructed. A highly specialised form of access which requires unique design challenges.
GANTRY FOR SITE OFFICES, PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA Three levels of gantry, housing site offices on the upper level and workers facilities on the mid level while providing safe public and vehicle access on the lower level. Typically these forms of gantries involve prefabricated structural steel construction. Through innovative design International Formwork & Scaffolding Ltd was able to erect a temporary gantry using standard modular products that can be erected quickly without the need for custom fabrication.
Church Maintenance Hire Access Scaffold was used to provide access to the building and spire of this heritage church in North Perth. The project included the provision of access stairways and a fully enclosed screen to maintain public safety and the ensure preservation of the original brickwork.
SOMMERSET DEPARTMENT STORE, ORCHARD RD, SINGAPORE A multi storey department store requiring cantilevered 'A' frame support. A safe working platform was incorporated using steel planks and a unique bracing system.
RAC Building, Wellington Street West Perth The construction of the RAC headquarters building in West Perth involved the erection of multi platform Cuplock system. Special applications included a purpose fabricated cantilevered system for roofing and gantry and walkway coverings for adjacent public space.
